For the past four years, the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge (MOPC) has been much more than just a competition for Camille Lopez, founder of HY-Plug. The event represents a true personal commitment to ocean protection, a commitment that has evolved over time.
In 2021 , Camille Lopez participated in the MOPC as a candidate in the student category, winning the award for best pitch. This recognition not only validated her innovative vision for HY-Plug, but also marked the beginning of a deeper involvement in this initiative.
In 2022 , she had the honor of joining the MOPC jury, providing a critical and constructive perspective to the proposals of new candidates. This experience allowed her to better understand the criteria for evaluating projects and to contribute to the development of young talents.
In 2023 , Camille took on the role of mentor for student teams, guiding and inspiring participants throughout the process of developing their projects. Her goal was to pass on her knowledge and support these young innovators in their quest for sustainable solutions.
For 2024 , Camille Lopez continues her commitment to the MOPC as a mentor for a student team and a professional team. It is a great pride for her to be able to accompany these innovators in their journey, helping them develop concrete solutions for the preservation of the oceans.
Every step of her journey at MOPC reflects her focus on “giving back.” Camille Lopez has received a tremendous amount of inspiration, support, and knowledge over the years, and she now strives to share that with new generations of innovators.
